HNBR And Neoprene

Chemical resistance: HNBR and Neoprene are designed for use in harsh and aggressive chemical environments, with excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of oils, solvents and acids.

Weathering Resistance: HNBR and Neoprene both have excellent weathering resistance to UV radiation and ozone exposure. They are suitable for outdoor applications.

Resistance to Compression Deformation: Both HNBR and Neoprene have good resistance to permanent deformation in compression. Even after being deformed or compressed, they can return to their original shape.

Temperature resistance: HNBR has a higher temperature resistance than Neoprene. HNBR can withstand temperatures up to 150°C, while Neoprene can only withstand temperatures up to 90°C. Under the action of high temperature, the dynamic permanent deformation of HNBR is small, the elongation and hardness change is small, while under the same conditions, neoprene rubber has often been destroyed and lost its use value.

Abrasion Resistance: HNBR has better abrasion resistance than neoprene, and is more resistant to wear caused by friction, making it suitable for dynamic applications. In the manufacture of synchronous belts for rubber parts in dynamic stress situations, HNBR still has high physical and mechanical properties after a long period of aging at high temperatures.

Oil Resistance: HNBR has greater oil resistance than neoprene, and its ability to withstand a wide range of chemicals and oils makes it ideal for use in oil and gas applications.
