One of the popular processing techniques for PP is meltblown, which utilizes high-velocity air to attenuate molten polymer into fine fibers. Meltblown pp pellets can be made into nonwovens with excellent filtering, insulating and absorbent properties for medical masks, air filters and diapers.
The conventional PP meltblown granules have a relatively low melt flow rate (MFR) and narrow molecular weight distribution, leading to poor spinnability, low efficiency, and inconsistent quality. To overcome these limitations, we have developed modified PP meltblown granules with higher MFR and narrowed molecular weight distribution.
