HDPE Virgin Resins is non-toxic, tasteless and odorless, with a density of 0.940-0.976g/cm3. It is a product of polymerization under low-pressure conditions catalyzed by Ziegler's catalyst, so HDPE is also called low-pressure polyethylene.

HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin produced by copolymerization of ethylene. HDPE Virgin Resins in its raw state has a milky white appearance and is somewhat translucent in thin sections. It has excellent resistance to most household and industrial chemicals and is resistant to corrosion and dissolution by strong oxidizers (concentrated nitric acid), acids and alkalis, and organic solvents (carbon tetrachloride). The polymer is non-hygroscopic and has good water vapor resistance for moisture and impermeability applications.

The disadvantage of HDPE Virgin Resins is that the aging resistance and environmental stress cracking performance is not as good as LDPE, especially the thermal oxidation will reduce its performance, so high-density polyethylene in the plastic roll made of antioxidants and UV absorbers to improve its shortcomings.
