High density polyethylene （HDPE）is non-toxic, tasteless, odorless white particles, melting point of about 130 ℃ (processing temperature), density of 0.941 ~ 0.960g/cm3. It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, good chemical stability, but also has a high rigidity and toughness, mechanical strength is good.

 

High-density polyethylene （HDPE） has good chemical stability, insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature and resistant to acids, alkalis and various salts.

 

HDPE's hardness, tensile strength and creep, abrasion resistance, toughness and cold resistance are better than low density polyethylene (LDPE).
