Low Density Polyethylene Resin is a milky white, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, non-toxic, non-glossy surface of the waxy grain, the density range of 0. 910 ~ 0. 925g/cms, is the lightest variety of polyethylene resin in addition to ultra-low density polyethylene. Its molecular structure is a branched molecule with long and short branches on the main chain, and there are about 20-30 ethyl, butyl or longer branches in every 1000 carbon atoms on the main chain. Compared with HDPE and MDPE, the crystallinity (55%-65Y6) and softening point (90-100°C) are lower, and the melt flow rate is wider (MFI=0.2-80g/min).

Low Density Polyethylene Resin has good chemical stability, resistant to aqueous solutions of acids, alkalis and salts, and resistant to general organic solvents up to 60℃. Cold resistance is also relatively good, with low conductivity, dielectric constant is small, dielectric loss angle tangent is low and dielectric strength and other characteristics. But heat resistance, oxidation resistance and light aging performance is poor. It is often necessary to add antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers in the application formula to improve its aging resistance.

Low-density polyethylene has good flexibility, extensibility, transparency, processability and a certain degree of permeability, but the mechanical strength is lower than that of high-density polyethylene, moisture permeability is also poor. Adhesion, adhesion, poor printability, need to be improved by chemical corrosion and corona treatment. Its physical and mechanical properties also vary according to different uses.

Low-density polyethylene is a flammable substance, and its dust can burn and explode in the air. The combustion temperature is 625～650℃, and the combustion concentration in air is 85～370g/m3, therefore, fire and high temperature must be strictly prohibited during transportation and storage.
