LDPE Virgin Resins is non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, with a density of 0.910~0.940g/cm3, it is polymerized under high pressure of 100~300MPa with oxygen or organic peroxide as catalyst, also called high pressure polyethylene.

Low-density polyethylene is the lightest quality variety among polyethylene resins. Its crystallinity (55% to 65%) and softening point (90 to 100°C) are lower compared to HDPE;

It has good softness, extensibility, transparency, cold resistance and processability; its chemical stability is good and it can resist acid, alkali and salt aqueous solutions; it has good electrical insulation and air permeability; low water absorption; easy to burn.

Soft nature, good extensibility, electrical insulation, chemical stability, processing properties and low temperature resistance (can withstand -70℃).

The disadvantages of LDPE Virgin Resins are its poor mechanical strength, moisture barrier, gas barrier and solvent resistance. The molecular structure is not regular enough, the crystallinity (55%-65%) is low, and the crystallization melting point (108-126℃) is also low. Its mechanical strength is lower than high-density polyethylene, impermeability, heat resistance and sunlight aging resistance is poor, in the sun or high temperature easy to aging decomposition and discoloration, resulting in performance degradation, so low-density polyethylene in made of plastic coil added antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers to improve its shortcomings.
