Production method

Low-density polyethylene is characterized by the following main points:

● The film is slightly opalescent and transparent in color and soft. The strength is smaller than HDPE, while the impact strength is larger than HDPE.

● Resistant to cold, low and higher temperatures. The thicker film can withstand the sterilization process by immersion in hot water at 90°C.

● Moisture resistance is relatively good, chemically stable, insoluble in general solvents.

● There is a large permeability, so when used as food packaging easy to oxidize, the content of the storage period should not be too long.

● Poor resistance to oil and grease, the products can be slowly dissolved. When packing food containing oil and fat, it will make the food appear saliva flavor after long time storage.

● It will be aged by ultraviolet rays and heat over a long period of time, affecting its physical and dielectric properties.

● The melting point is 110~115℃, the processing temperature is 150~210℃, if in the inert gas, the temperature can reach 300℃ is still stable. However, the melt and oxygen contact prone to degradation.
